We have worked on decals for "BLUE" and Blue's owner came back wanting wheel inserts (that's what I call them) to match the paint. We got to work.
Tracing

Blue's owner traced the insert with good ole' paper and sharpie! Who doesn't love a good sharpie marker. We had 3 tracings, but this is the one we used.

I cleaned up the tracing and smoothed out some lines. I printed it off on regular paper and Kindergarten came back to use! I cut the image out and we tested it.

Once we saw the shape was good. Blue's owner thought it needed just a smidge of length, so that is what we did. I added a little length and cut and test again.

The second image was the one we used, so I printed the images on white reflective vinyl. He needed some for all 5 tires, plus the spare. I added a few for "oopsies".

Blue's owner picked up the decals and took Blue to get cleaned up a bit and then added the decals to the wheels. I think they look awesome! What do you think?
